Why Stage a Home for Sale?
The aim of staging a home for sale is to make the most of the property attracting the highest number of potential buyers. Staged homes can sell for up to 15% over the asking price.
Staging is about the buyer, not the seller, many people cannot visualise beyond what is in front of them so often walking into an empty home makes it difficult for them to envision themselves living in the space. A beautifully staged home provides a connection in how their own furniture might look in the space.
At UpStaged Properties, we take into account who the likely buyer will be and stage the house accordingly. First impressions count and we can help with advising on how to get an occupied home ready for photos to furnishing an empty house and also provide gardening, painting and maintenance services.

Home Staging
We furnish an empty house with furniture, art, mirrors, rugs and accessories to make the most of the space and light attracting potential buyers, both online and in person. The furniture will stay in the home for two months.
We also provide an accessories package for occupied homes, giving the finishing touches to your home and creating great photographs.
Home Staging Consultations
Either virtually or in person, we will walk with you through your property advising on how to prepare your home for sale. This will take about an hour and we will provide a guideline to follow.
Decluttering your Home for Sale
Buyers want to see the space and often we have too much stuff in our homes. We can help you declutter, remove items to charity, recycling etc and style your home with your furniture.
Executor Sale Decluttering and Staging
When a family member has passed away, it can be very difficult to sort through a lifetime of items collected, for the people left behind, at UpStaged Properties we respectfully declutter the home and prepare it for sale, always being mindful of the sensitive situation.
